| Summary, etc. | El presente informe propone el desarrollo de un Pacto Digital Mundial que establezca principios, objetivos y acciones para avanzar hacia un futuro digital abierto, libre, seguro y centrado en el ser humano, anclado en los derechos humanos universales y que permita la consecución de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. <br/><br/>Esboza áreas en las que la necesidad de cooperación digital entre múltiples partes interesadas es urgente y establece cómo un Pacto Digital Mundial puede ayudar a hacer realidad el compromiso de las Naciones Unidas de "dar forma a una visión compartida de la cooperación digital", proporcionando un marco global inclusivo. Dicho marco es esencial para la acción multilateral necesaria para superar las brechas digitales, de datos y de innovación y para lograr la gobernanza necesaria para un futuro digital sostenible.<br/><br/>Entre las conclusiones se destaca la necesidad de pasar a la acción rápidamente si se desea recuperar el potencial de las tecnologías digitales para el desarrollo equitativo y sostenible. Además del trabajo conjunto, se propone un compromiso por realizar un seguimiento y una revisión continuos, para que los principios y prioridades acordados se lleven a la práctica. |
